About Amber McGivney

Amber McGivney is a multidisciplinary fashion designer living in Los Angeles.

Specializing in women's contemporary, she is well versed in all classifications including; wovens, cut and sew knits, sweater knits, dresses, outerwear, bottoms and swimwear. With the ability to successfully identify cohesion between original ideas and proven design, she bridges the gap between innovation and commerce. Driving success, and expanding opportunities for any company is her main objective. Extensive knowledge of proportion, silhouette, construction, textiles, and dye manipulation add further dimension to her process. She displays influence of metropolitan cities and these interactions, having studied at The University of The Arts-London College of Fashion, as well as living and working in New York and Los Angeles. Amber is currently working for a private label company designing for Nordstrom and Haute Look.
